MAKE A DEMAND
“And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.”
Exodus 12:36.
There is no joy that is as obeying the instruction of God, it pays more than anything. Obedience to His commandments is like entering into a business partnership with Him, come rain come shine He will always fulfill His part.
In Egypt, the only thing that was familiar to an average Israeli is toiling and suffering, they weren’t familiar with the joy of living in God’s superlative abundance. They were too oppressed to think along with God. Surplus was a strange word in their camp; they never had enough, because slaves were not supposed to have enough.
Things were so tight with them to the extent that they think that living in lack was normal. No wonder they always refer to the bread of affliction they were given to eat in Egypt. When abnormal becomes normal, the normal thing will become extraordinary.
When the council of heaven declares a judgment in their favor that revoked the judgment of slavery and servitude, little did they know it is with a pay. God freed them with a parting gift; He gave them a take away. He made the oppressor to pay for all the free services they had been receiving from their captive.
More than what the Lord did for Israel; He wanted to do for you. He wants to bring you out and take you to your land of inheritance where you will have more than enough. If only you can cooperate with Him today, you will tell a new story. In this new journey toward destiny, you have a responsibility. You have a part to play.
God want you to demand. He told the Israelites to borrow, the original interpretation of that means to demand. There are lots of your unclaimed benefits that God is set to give you this year, but you’ve got to demand for it.
Friend will you fold your hands and watch your inheritance waste away in a strange land? Will you keep quiet and let your benefits remain in the opponent’s territory? Demand, go for it and go get it. It belongs to you.
You will not lose your inheritance in Jesus mighty name.
